How Gospel Growing began
This discipleship pathway was born out of a desire to see true, biblical discipleship — discipleship that encourages believers to read Scripture carefully, compare and connect passages, and reflect on God's Word in ways that lead to real-life application.
This seven-book series is designed to lead people deeper into the faith, drawing them further into the richness of Christianity while equipping them for witnessing, service, and leadership.
How Gospel Growing began
GGMD was written by Andrew L. Scribner. In his own words:
I began writing GGMD in 2020, originally under the name Gospel Rooted, as a simple devotional. Some of its early structure was influenced by material from Jeff Vanderstelt and Saturate the World. Over time, I continued to develop and expand the content, adding additional books — or phases — until the series became more complete. While the current GGMD material is very different from the original version, it still carries subtle traces of its beginnings, and I believe it is far stronger and more effective today.
